Academy

The Ad Council Academy is a training program that focuses on marketing and communications topics. The goal of the program is simple - to enhance your professional marketing and communications know how.

Sessions are scheduled through December 2009, with a dynamic mix of facilitators and topics. Academy sessions are single-topic, two hour sessions, with a formal presentation as well as a question and answer period.

Courses are $25 per session.  Packages are also available (4 sessions for $85 or 7 sessions for $150).  Buy a package for your organization and send multiple employees!

Branding for Nonprofits

Program Description
Your brand is much more than your logo - it is, as Michael Eisner describes it, "the sum of a thousand small gestures." By definition, the nonprofits that raise the most money and do the most good will always be the nonprofits with the strongest brands. This session will explore the foundations of brand-building for nonprofit organizations, inlcuding outlining the process the Ad Council has used with dozens of nonprofits large and small. We will also discuss how to use each of your constituent interactions - your thousand small gestures - as the most powerful of all branding opportunities.
