Academy- This training series focuses on marketing and communications topics with a simple goal – to enhance your professional marketing and communications know how. There are between 8 and 10 Academy sessions throughout the year, with a dynamic mix of facilitators and topics. Academy sessions are single-topic, 2 hour sessions, with a formal presentation as well as a Q&A period.
Nonprofit Workshops- These longer-form training programs delve deeper into a particular topic, utilizing expert presenters and interactive components to build your marketing skills and confidence. Past topics have included stratetic planning, marketing and fundraising, design, event planning and marketing and information technology.
Annual Luncheon- This annual fundraiser allows the Ad Council to recognize all of its most loyal supporters; both individuals and businesses in the community, as well as campaign partners who have achieved significant results over the course of the year. All luncheon proceeds benefit the Ad Council’s programs that help the nonprofit community be heard.
Golf Tournament- This annual fundraiser takes place at two local golf courses (Shadow Pines & Greystone), followed by a networking dinner and silent auction at Shadow Pines. Nearly 200 professionals from the marketing and advertising industry come out for a day of golf and networking while supporting the Ad Council’s work with nonprofits in Rochester. All tournament proceeds benefit the Ad Council’s programs that help the nonprofit community be heard.
